Ground Water Levels

UNWNRD has 15 Telemetry units being placed throughout the district. These telemetry units produce real time data. They measure the depth from the ground level to water level in their designated monitoring wells. Staff measures wells twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. These numbers are computed to show the trends of ground water throughout the district. Telemetry monitoring wells allow staff to see the change in water levels on a day-to-day basis.
