Tree Orders Accepted
Conservation trees benefit both people and animals. They shade and shelter homes, reduce soil erosion, protect crops and livestock, provide food and cover for wildlife, buffer noise, provide valuable products and add beauty to our landscape. Each year, Nebraska’s Natural Resources Districts (NRDs) help landowners plant more than a million trees throughout the state. The only type of trees that are available to purchase through the Upper Niobrara White NRD are conservation-grade seedlings. These trees are 2 to 3 years of age from seed and are usually no more than 2 feet tall. A variety of evergreens, deciduous trees and shrubs are available in the spring – both potted and bare root.
Tree orders will be accepted starting November 1, 2024. An updated tree order form will be posted when available!
