Notice of Stakeholder Advisory Meeting for the Upper Niobrara-White NRD
MEETING RELATED TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE UPPER NIOBRARA-WHITE NATURAL RESOURCES DISTRICT AND NEBRASKA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES JOINT VOLUNTARY INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT PLAN
The Upper Niobrara-White Natural Resources District (District) and the Nebraska Department of Natural Resources (NeDNR) are jointly developing a Voluntary Integrated Water Management Plan (V-IMP) for the portion of the District that is not designated as fully appropriated. The planning process includes the engagement of surface and ground water stakeholders throughout the planning area. The public is welcomed to attend this stakeholder meeting and there will be opportunity for public comment towards the end of the meeting.
Notice is hereby provided that the first public meeting of the V-IMP’s Stakeholder Advisory Committee will begin at 6:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time on Monday, February 24, 2020, at the Security First Center (110 E 2nd St, Rushville, Nebraska). An agenda for the meeting will be made available 10 days prior to the meeting during normal business hours at the offices of Upper Niobrara-White NRD and the NeDNR, and at the following website: www.dnr.nebraska.gov.
